Stupid Rules Alert

Many stupid rules don’t start out stupid. In fact they originally were created to improve ways of doing things and well, make life better for our customers and in turn, co-workers. That was then, this is now. Now, there may be an even better way to perform a task or resolve a problem.
Person-centered care is about treating each customer as an individual and meeting his/her specific needs and wants. Unnecessary rules prevent us from treating each situation individually, thus almost ensuring our service will be “one size fits all” and ultimately lackluster.
Our goal is to keep improving and evolving our company and care. We want to provide the structure and guidance for us to move forward to become the best in our profession—the best at serving seniors. Policies that limit us (you) from delivering the best care should be called out.
That’s where you come in.
If you experience or hear of a rule that you think takes away from the customer experience at Country Meadows or Ecumenical Retirement Community and prevents us from moving toward our goal of becoming the best, tell us about it.
Thank you for your feedback and support.
